Ratpoison is a keyboard orientated window manager for X11; RatRSSd is an RSS aggregator which displays feeds in a manner compatible with ratpoison using the XOSD library. It should work perfectly well with other window managers though.
To configure RatRSSd open ratrssd.py in your favourite text editor and edit the "CONFIGURATION" section.
